PROMETRIC REVIEW CLASS FOR CAREGIVERS
Prepare for your Japan caregiving career with a training program designed to build real-world caregiving skills, confidence, and test readiness. At BMG, our goal is to equip Filipino caregivers with the knowledge and competencies required to pass Japan’s Prometric Exam. Students will learn both the theoretical concepts and essential skills needed in Japan’s caregiving facilities, all guided by our certified and experienced instructor.
What to Expect
During the Caregiver Prometric Class, students will learn the following (delivered in Japanese terms as required by the exam):
- Knowledge of caregiving concepts
- Understanding of patient care procedures
- Basic Nursing & Caregiving Skills
- Measuring vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration)
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility
- Assisting with ambulation
- Bed making and proper patient positioning
The lessons include classroom discussions, skills demonstrations, and practice assessments to help students develop both confidence and competence.
Training Outcomes
By the end of the program, graduates can expect to:
- Demonstrate Proficiency in Essential Caregiving Skills
You will be able to perform core caregiving tasks aligned with Japan’s standard practices — from assisting with daily living activities to maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Understand Japanese Caregiving Terminology
Students gain familiarity with caregiving terms and concepts in Japanese, a key advantage in the Prometric Exam and future workplace settings.
- Apply Proper Techniques for Patient Handling
Training includes correct body mechanics, mobility assistance, bed positioning, and handling of elderly or disabled individuals.
- Accurately Measure and Record Vital Signs
Students will learn how to take and interpret vital signs: BP, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Practice Professional Conduct and Care Ethics
The program highlights empathy, communication, and ethical caregiving practices expected in Japan’s care facilities.
- Be Fully Prepared for the Prometric Exam
With mock exams, drills, and instructor-guided practice, students will gain the confidence and readiness to successfully pass their caregiving assessment.
